Community Guidelines

Haggling is fine; being a jerk is not. No harassment, hate speech, discrimination, or personal attacks — in listings, messages, or reviews. Disagreements about price or condition happen; keep them civil or walk away from the deal.

• Use real photos of the actual item — not stock images.
• Describe condition accurately: "mini-fridge, 2 years old, small dent, works fine" beats a surprise at pickup.
• Price it clearly, or mark it free. Don't bait-and-switch.
• Mark items sold once they're gone so nobody wastes a trip.

When you agree on a price and a meetup time, show up. If your plans change, message the other person as early as you can — a two-sentence heads-up preserves your reputation. Chronic no-shows get reported, rated accordingly, and eventually removed.

No weapons, alcohol, drugs, vapes, recalled or hazardous goods, counterfeits, stolen property, or anything against Vanderbilt policy or the law. The full list is in the Terms of Service. When in doubt: if you couldn't have it in your dorm room, don't list it here.

Reports are private — the seller never learns who reported. We review every report and remove listings and accounts that break the rules.

This platform exists to keep good stuff on campus and out of dumpsters during move-out. Giving things away is just as valued as selling them — the free section is the heart of the site. Also read the Safety Tips before your first meetup.
